XShop (XIOT) – Returns & Refunds Policy
Policy Duration
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a return or refund. After 30 days, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return:
- The device must be unused, in its original condition, and returned in the original packaging.
- All included accessories, cables, manuals, and installation kits must be returned.
- A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Please do not send your product back to the manufacturer.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain products cannot be returned, including:
- Activated or registered tracking devices (once linked to an account or SIM card)
- Software licenses, activation codes, or downloadable firmware packages
- Customized installations or configured hardware
- Hazardous materials, batteries not sold as part of a device, or flammable components
- Gift cards / coupons
- Selected health and personal care electronics
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted in the following cases:
- Devices showing signs of use or installation
- Opened software, firmware, or diagnostic tools
- Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts (not due to our error)
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you via email regarding approval or rejection.
- If approved, your refund will be processed and credited to your original payment method within a few business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company (posting delays may occur).
- Contact your bank (processing times vary).
- If you still haven’t received your refund, email us at sales@xiot.co.za.
Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
To request an exchange for the same device, email exchanges@xiot.co.za and send your product to:

Gifts & Coupons
- If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit equal to the return value. A gift certificate will be mailed once the item is received.
- If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or was shipped to the gift giver first, the refund will be issued to the gift giver.
Shipping Returns
To return your product, ship it to:

- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the return shipping fee will be deducted.
- Delivery times for exchanges may vary depending on your location.
- For high-value electronics, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
